Buildings we support
Fire code compliance, answered
How often does my fire alarm system need to be inspected?
Under the Ontario Fire Code, fire alarm systems must be inspected and tested in conformance with CAN/ULC-S536, which calls for monthly testing plus a comprehensive annual inspection covering every device on the system. We offer scheduled monthly and annual programs so nothing gets missed.
Who is responsible for keeping a building compliant?
The building owner (or their property management company) is responsible for ensuring fire protection systems are maintained, tested, and documented. Inspection records must be kept on hand for review by the fire department and insurance providers. We provide clear, audit-ready reports after every inspection so your records are always in order.
What happens if an inspection finds deficiencies?
Every deficiency is documented in your inspection report along with what's needed to correct it. We coordinate the repairs, complete follow-up verification, and update your documentation — so you have a clear paper trail from identification to correction.
Do you work on buildings under construction?
Yes. We provide fire alarm verifications and compliance support for under-construction developments and newly occupied buildings, coordinating with contractors and site schedules to keep occupancy timelines on track.
Will inspections disrupt my tenants or operations?
We plan around your building. That includes tenant and occupant coordination, access scheduling, and efficient work across occupied, multi-unit, and active construction sites — with clear communication before, during, and after the visit.
What areas do you serve, and how fast can you come out?
We serve the GTA, Peel, York, Halton, and surrounding regions. Service calls are answered 24/7 — for urgent deficiencies or emergency support, call 437-446-1427 any time.
